Job Title: SEN Tutor

Job Duties:

1. Provide tailored support and tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

2. Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.

3. Implement effective teaching strategies to enhance students' academic and social growth.

4. Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.

5. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for SEN students.

Required Qualifications:

- Relevant qualification in Education or Special Education Needs.

- Experience working with students with SEN.

- Strong understanding of SEN support strategies.

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Specialised training in SEN support.

- Additional certification in Special Education.

Working Conditions:

- Work in a school setting or provide home-based tutoring.

- Full-time hours with flexibility required to meet student needs.

- Collaborative work with parents, teachers, and support staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
