Flexible One-to-One Tuition Opportunities with TP Tutors

Are you passionate about helping young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) achieve their full potential?

TP Tutors is seeking dedicated SEN Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition across Bournemouth and surrounding areas. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support learners who may have autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, learning difficulties, or gaps in education, helping them build confidence and make meaningful academic progress.

Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour 
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in community settings, schools, or the learner's home

The Role

As an SEN Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, tailored one-to-one tuition sessions
  • Plan lessons based on individual learning needs and targets
  • Support learners to develop confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches where needed
  • Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and success
  • Maintain accurate records and feedback following sessions

Essential Requirements

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND needs
  • Background in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, teaching assistance, or educational support
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and best practice
  • Ability to travel within Bournemouth and nearby areas
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
