SEN Teaching Assistant - Hayes - Secondary - £60 - £75 - Immediate Start!

For this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you should be a passionate graduate who has already supported SEN children and at least received a 2:1 in your degree (core subject degrees desirable). To be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you should possess an interest in SEN and the desire to develop your understanding of the various needs and practices in place to support each and every student.

Experience in supporting children with Literacy and Numeracy difficulties will be very useful. Please highlight relevant experience when applying for the post. The successful candidates will be supported by the Inclusion Manager and a friendly and supportive team of Teaching Assistants. Regular opportunities for training will be offered.

Additional Experience:

  • Experience of working with Special Educational Needs - Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties.
  • Safeguarding Course Certificate.
  • Additional CPD courses.

Additional requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain a DBS check.
  • Proof of career history from the last 6 years.
  • Able to provide 2 career related references.
  • The drive and stamina to exceed school expectations and targets.
  • Strong subject knowledge (English, maths or Science)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally

The school itself is located in the heart of Hayes, surrounded by cafes, shops and restaurants. The school has on site parking and has a number of free on street parking spaces nearby.
