SEN Teaching Assistant - September

A Secondary school based in Wigan wish to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant ahead of the new school year in September. With a number of identified pupils joining the school in September, our client Secondary school are seeking to meet with individuals who are experienced in working with students who may need additional support throughout the school day.

This position is due to commence in September 2018 and will continue through the first term with the view to be taken on a fixed term basis beyond the initial period.

The Position;

** SEN Teaching Assistant - September 2018 start

** Working within a 'Good' graded school in Wigan

** Opportunity to earn up £1000-£1200 a month

** Working with identified pupils and pupils on the Autistic Spectrum

** Previous SEN experience is essential

As an SEN Teaching Assistant within our client school, it is essential that you are able to work alongside students in a supportive capacity, treating them in a friendly and approachable way whilst still being able to ensure that the students are making constant improvements. You will be confident and calm when dealing with challenging situations and be able to promote positive learning and behaviour whenever possible.

Our client Secondary school is a comprehensive school based in Leigh; it is larger than the average-sized Secondary school with approximately 950 students on roll. This is a 'Good' graded school across the board where students' behaviour and their attitudes to learning are good and relationships between students and adults are good.
