Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with additional needs?

Maybe you have experience supporting young people with additional needs in a different capacity?

If this sounds like you and you are seeking a full time position, we want to hear from you!

Teaching Personnel are working alongside an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Rochdale who require a Teaching Assistant to join the school and work alongside the SENCO to support a number of pupils who have been identified as requiring additional support.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be required to support a number of pupils within the school on both a 1:1 and group basis as you assist them in reaching the curriculum and supporting them with any additional needs they may have, whether these are learning, SEN, behaviour or SEMH related. Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is preferred, however we would welcome those with transferable experience, such as those who have worked as a Youth Worker, Support Worker or similar.

  • Full time position working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils on both a 1:1 and group basis
  • Working within the SEN department of an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Rochdale
  • Get paid up to £70 a day, dependent on experience and responsibilities.
  • Further develop your CV through Teaching Personnel's CPD courses.

You will be working within a modern secondary school in Rochdale which was recently graded 'Good' by Ofsted. The school has an excellent reputation within the local community, mainly due to its tradition of delivering academic success, as well as having the reputation of being a safe and supportive place for pupils to learn. The school is easily accessible by both own transport as well as public transport, with major links to the City Centre close by.

For further information contact the Manchester Secondary branch of Teaching Personnel, or simply apply to this advert with an up to date copy of your CV and a cover letter.
