SEN Teaching Assistant required in Preston secondary school

Job description

I am working on behalf of a mainstream secondary school in Preston, Lancashire, who require a strong SEN experienced Teaching Assistant to support a challenging pupil within the classroom environment. This is not a 1:1 role and you will be supporting the child in class.

The position is to start on Monday 9th September until the end of the academic year on a full-time basis.

The school is located in North Preston and is accessible via public transport with on-site parking facilities.

The successful candidate should have:

- Experience supporting pupils with SEN (ideally challenging behaviour)

- Genuine interest in education

- Commitment to a full-time position
