SEN Teaching Assistant Required (Dunsfold)

Are you looking to work with Special Educational Needs children? Then we want to hear from you! Here at Teaching Personnel we are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school in Maidenhead. The school caters for primary and secondary school pupils with complex special educational needs. The core aim of the school is to allow pupils to progress in their education, provide therapeutic learning support and develop essential life skills.

The school caters for Autism syndrome helps the pupils receive a broad range of key life skills learning opportunities and on-site and off-site activities and therapies overseen by highly qualified teaching staff.

Classrooms will normally have the following structure: specialist trained teaching staff plus Teaching Assistants, a Lead Teacher plus a Supervisor (who may oversee a maximum of 2 classrooms). Pupil numbers will be approximately 3-6 within each classroom.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
