SEN Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start
Location: Raunds
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs in a welcoming primary school in Raunds. This full-time role offers an immediate start (once all checks are completed) and involves working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to help pupils reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs
-
Assist with behaviour management and emotional support
-
Support the development of pupils’ independence and social skills
-
Collaborate with teachers and external professionals to deliver tailored learning plans
-
Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
The ideal candidate will:
-
Have experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting
-
Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable to individual pupil needs
-
Understand safeguarding and child protection principles
-
Hold relevant qualifications or be willing to undertake training
-
Be available to start immediately
