SEN Teaching Assistant, Kirkham

Job description

Teaching Personnel work with a School based in Kirkham which caters for pupils with SEN, which includes; Autism, ADHD, Physical Disabilities, Learning Difficulties and pupils who display challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average and caters for KS1-4 pupils who have additional learning needs. The School are hoping to appoint a hard working, enthusiastic, empathetic Teaching Assistant who has a background in working with children or adults who have additional needs.

The candidate must have experience working with special educational needs and a passion for working with children who need extra support in School. The candidate will ideally hold their Team Teach qualification and be willing to provide personal care when required. Candidates must also be available to work with children of all ages as you may get moved around the School quite a lot.

The role will be full time and candidates must be looking for a long term, possibly permanent position from September.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day

- Long term position available
