SEN Teaching Assistant

Join a popular secondary school in Manchester seeking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full time basis from October.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting on a 1:1 basis and in small groups supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).

We are looking for someone who is able to promote the inclusion and acceptable of all pupils and someone who is able to motivate pupils and re-inforce self-esteem.

This popular secondary school is located in East Manchester just a short drive from the city centre and easily accessible via public transport links. The schools intake of pupils that require Special Educational Needs support is higher than the national average and the school has an internal provision to provide this support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
