Teaching Personnel Plymouth are currently looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to work across our alternative provision schools in Saltash. The role is to start in September 2021 and will be full time- Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm- term time only until the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain extremely valuable and transferable experience in a highly supportive and caring environment.

The successful applicants will:
-Hold a Childcare Workforce DBS on the Update Service (we can help you with this)
-Be available full time from the start 6th September
-Be reliable, honest, and professional
-Have 2 contactable references
-Have a genuine care and desire to support young people with their learning.
- Be proactive and willing to get involved across the school

Ideal attributes:
-Drivers licence and access to own car
-SEN experience or training
-Teaching Assistant experience

About the role:
-Dependent on your experience and interest, you will be working at either a Primary or Secondary SEN school.
-You will be working closely with students and supporting the class teacher.
-Dependent on the school you are working in, you will be working with students who have EHCP’s, SEMH needs or learning difficulties.
-You will be working with the pupil in and out of their vocational lessons, doing sport activities and supporting their health and wellbeing.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
