SEN Teaching assistant Plymouth

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a teaching assistant with specialist training and experience with supporting SEN students in school settings. Our client school in north Plymouth is looking for an educator with extensive experience within this area coupled with relevant training and qualifications to fulfil this role to the best of their ability.

This two form entry school is well known for their SEN experience and as such calls for a TA with extensive experience and capabilities.

Experience with 1:1 support and pupil premium support is desirable.

The successful educator must have:

•             experience working within a mainstream/SEN school, alternative provision or inclusion       centre.

•             MAPA training desirable but not essential.

•             Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs/SEN (Autism, Emotional Difficulties, Behavioural Difficulties or Learning Difficulties) or training in PECS/ Makaton/ BSL / Team Teach is desirable.

•             A driving license and a car is desirable

•             A recent DBS or be willing to apply for one

•             A passion for education and teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
