Teaching Assistant – Wigan

Are you an enthusiastic graduate who is looking to pursue a career in secondary teaching and want to gain PAID classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant?

A large and dynamic secondary school located close to the centre of Wigan are currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant on a full-time temporary basis fro January 2020 to July 2020!

This is a fantastic opportunity for those graduates or final year students who are looking to complete a PGCE in the future!

The headteacher of this secondary school located in Wigan, is looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join the schools support team to assist the class teacher by providing tailored support to identified pupils across the school aged 11-16 who require additional support with their studies.  The pupils you will be supporting generally struggle to engage with their studies due to disadvantaged background and some students have mild SEN including Autism and some with challenging behaviour.
