Job description

 A thriving, successful, popular and friendly Catholic School in Basingstoke with delightful children, a dynamic staff and supportive parents and governors.

We are seeking to recruit a number of 1-1 LSAs to support several young children with SEN. Most of these roles are full time and involve working from the hours of 8.45-3.30pm. Candidates who have experience of, or an interest in, working with children with autism would be particularly welcome to apply. 

The successful candidate will:

*Have previous successful experience of working with children

*Be able to work as part of a team with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude

*Have excellent communication skills, relating well to children, colleagues and parents

*Have a calm, positive and kind approach

*Be able to work independently and with initiative

*Be resilient, flexible, organised and resourceful

*Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the

*Have a clear understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
