Do you have a passion for working alongside children with special education needs or disabilities?

Are you keen to make a difference in the lives of children with a range of needs (including and not limited to: SEMH, PMLD, ASC)?

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work at one of our local schools in Bradford from September 2022.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the team at this vibrant, friendly specialist school. The school provides education for children and young people with autism and complex needs, with a dynamic curriculum and personalised learning pathways designed to help every child succeed.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will understand the importance of the in-class support you will provide. Working on a 1:1 basis with students will give them the extra support they need in order to achieve their potential, while ensuring the students you work with are able to engage fully in lessons.

Ideal candidate qualities

  • Calm, patient practitioner
  • Experience in an SEN or school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident working 1:1 and with groups of students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
