Teaching Personnel are supporting the recruitment of an SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of our client secondary school located in South Manchester.

Due to a number of additional pupils joining the school in September, this school require an additional SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support department in the new academic year.

This post is initial a temporary full time position from September, with the opportunity for the ideal applicant to gain permanent post.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Overview

  • Full time SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity - September 2019
  • 12 month temporary role with permanent opportunity available to the ideal applicant
  • Secondary school located on the outskirts of Wythenshawe
  • Pay in line with TA level 2 (£1200 - £1350 per month)

Due to a gap within their support department, this 11-16 secondary school wish to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant who can support a number of new year 7 pupils joining the school in September. The successful applicant will hold a number of responsibilities including; supporting the transition of year 7 pupils, supporting those with special educational needs, monitoring progress and attainment levels of individual pupils and supporting class teachers in lessons to enhance learning.

The ideal candidate for this SEN teaching assistant role will have significant experience supporting pupils with special education needs and have a passion for working with children.

With regards to location, the school is easily accessible via the M56 motorway and offers a large on-site car park. For non-driver, the school is located close to good transport links which are accessible from in and around Manchester, neighbouring Trafford, Altrincham, Stockport.
