SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN TA work available at a school in Romford! Looking to trial staff immedietly and then to hire on a permanent basis either full-time or part-time after February half-term. 

We are are looking for kind nurturing teaching assistants to join our SEN/PMLD school based in Romford, our amazing school cater for PMLD students who have a number of complex needs. We need teaching assistants who have previously worked with PMLD students or have some experience with personal care. Students at the school can be non verbal and have learning difficulties therefore it's important to hire someone who is patient and also attentive to needs that aren't always obvious. 

The School:

• Caters to students aged 2-11
• Pupils have ranged of complex needs
• Has excellent facilities for the students - including a magic carpet projector and a sensory room
• Wants someone energetic and engaging with students 
• Rated outstanding by ofsted

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience with SEN would be beneficial
• Attentive to students throughout the day 
• Passion to support young pupils with complex needs
• A committed professional, who has previous experience working with children (experience with special needs is desirable)
• Able to make lessons fun and enjoyable for students by providing lots of energy
