SEN Support Assistant
This role will be working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with additional needs in Year 1. The school is located in Lancing, and the successful candidate will start in March and carry on until the end of the academic year.

• Salary from GBP60 – GBP65 per day

The Head teacher is looking for a Level 3 teaching assistant with previous experience of working with children with special educational needs. The successful candidate should also be comfortable in leading the full class if the class teacher leaves the room..
The Role:
• Supporting the pupils emotional needs
• Helping the pupil communicate and socialise with other pupils
• Developing the pupils fine motor skills through 1:1 interventions
The Candidate:
This Lancing based primary school is smaller than average and is an inclusive and happy school which focuses on ensuring all their pupils are happy, safe and reach their individual potential. It not only aims to develop positive attitudes to the pupils in school and to the communities they contribute too. The school is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has a specialist sensory provision for children going into crisis. The school has a strong and supportive senior leadership team and an inclusive community ethos.
