Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with one of our fantastic client schools in Hull looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant to work alongside children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) to commence once the schools reopen. Teaching Personnel are currently holding VIRTUAL interviews to allow all our necessary vetting checks ti be completed once the schools reopen. 

Teaching Personnel can offer the successful candidate:

  • Competitive pay rates of GBP275-GBP350 per week, however long term rates can be negotiated on your behalf

Working as a Classroom Support Assistant you will be supporting children and young people accompanied by a Teacher and another Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate will have:

Essential

  • Experience working with ASC, SEN or other disabilities
  • Experience engaging with difficult behaviour
  • Have a nurturing and patient manner
  • Come from a care or education background
  • A Chld Workforce ONLY DBS that is registered on the Update Service, or be happy to apply for one

Desired

  • De-escalation training
  • Team Teach
  • MAYBO training
  • Previous 1:1 work experience
