SEN Teaching Assistant

A fantastic Primary school located in the heart of Wisbech are looking for a dedicated, experienced and passionate  teaching assistant to take on a full-time, 1:1 specialised support role for a pupil with complex medical needs. The position is set to take place in January 2020, and the school are looking to interview in the coming weeks.

‘The right candidate will be working closely in a team around the child to ensure the best possible opportunities are given. If the child is too unwell to be in school, there is the possibility that some academic support may have to be provided in the home. Full comprehensive training would be provided and ongoing support will be available to the successful candidate’.

Ideal Candidates will have:

• The ability to build good relationships with pupils, colleagues as well as parents and carers.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team, but also as an individual
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Patience and a good sense of humour
