SEN Teaching Assistant
- Assist the class teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
- Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.

Our supportive and welcoming partner school in Southend-On-Sea is looking for an additional SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team due to expansion. This challenging but extremely rewarding role will require you to support autistic pupils 1:1, in small groups and as part of a larger class. Class sizes are small and the curriculum is personalised, to significantly enhance the quality each child’s education.
PLEASE NOTE: This role is not immediately permanent; however there is an opportunity of gaining a permanent contract with the school through an introduction with Teaching Personnel.
You will also need a Full UK Driving License and own transport, due to the location of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
