Autism support teaching assistant needed in Salford, M30.

Autism support required for pupil in EYFS.

A “good” Primary School in Salford are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to their Early Years Foundation Stage team to support a young pupil with Autism (ASC) on a full time basis starting in November for the rest of the academic year with the few to be put on the school contract.

The Salford school have just got confirmation the pupil is required to be put on a statement for Autism. The pupil is a lovely boy. He is non verbal and not aggressive. He needs extra 1:1 support in the classroom, personal care and help integrating with other pupils. The school are looking for a teaching assistant with experience of working with Autism (ASC), ideally with young children.

The School is based in Salford is easily accessible by local transport links running directly to and from the town centre and surrounding areas. The primary school does have a higher than average number of pupils who come into the school with SEN. • Full time role supporting a pupil with Autism (ASC) starting as soon as possible with the possibility of going onto the school’s contract.

• Competitive rate of pay of GBP60-GBP70 a day.
