Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a fantastic Primary SEN School in Rochdale to recruit a compassionate and enthusiastic Classroom Support Assistant to support pupils aged 3-11 years with a range of additional learning needs, including MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties).

This is more than just a classroom role. It's an opportunity to help children overcome barriers, celebrate achievements big and small, and make a genuine difference every single day.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Helping children access learning activities tailored to their individual needs.
• Building confidence, independence, and social skills.
• Supporting communication and engagement throughout the school day.
• Assisting with sensory activities and personalised learning programmes.
• Providing personal care support when required, including toileting, feeding, and changing.
• Working alongside teachers, therapists, and specialist staff to ensure every child receives the support they need.
• Creating a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment.
