Job description

An understanding of personalised learning, visual timetables, sensory regulation and communication strategies would be advantageous.
The school is looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic, resilient and committed to creating an inclusive classroom where pupils feel valued, understood and encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and life skills.
The successful candidate will ideally:

Hold qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
-
Have experience working within a primary school setting.
-
Have experience or a strong interest in supporting pupils with autism and complex SEND.
-

-
Be patient, nurturing and consistent in their approach.
-
Be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary and supportive team.
-
Be committed to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
This is a rewarding opportunity to join a supportive school community and make a meaningful difference to the educational and personal development of pupils with complex autism needs.
