SEN TA

Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream primary school in the OL10 area that are currently recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their welcoming primary school and provide dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs in KS1.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting children with SEND, be patient and nurturing, and have a strong understanding of how to adapt support to meet individual needs.

The role will involve:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day

• Supporting learning, engagement and communication

• Managing and supporting behaviour positively

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

• Helping the pupil develop confidence, independence and social skills

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working with children with SEND

• A patient, caring and consistent approach

• A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
