Teaching Assistant - Catholic Primary School

Description:

Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work within a number of Nursery/Primary Catholic Schools within the Westminster Diocese, we specifically are looking for people in the West London area; Uxbridge, Ealing, Harrow, brent.

There are numerous opportunities for the right candidates to work on a full-time, part time or day to day basis, with a high number of our partner schools already requiring candidates for immediate starts.

Roles include classroom teaching assistant support, intervention leads, 1:1 SEN support teaching assistants and Early Years Educators/Assistants. The ideal teaching assistants are practitioners who are committed, enthusiastic and have experience of working in a classroom environment.

You are not required to have experience working within a catholic school nor do you need to be catholic yourself, but we do ask that if you apply you will be respectful of the catholic faith.

Requirements:

  • If applying for a job as a Teaching Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant please provide (or be willing to apply for) a DBS which needs to be child work force only, and a certificate in safeguarding, if you have neither please do still email me as we can help you get a DBS and safeguard training.
  • If applying for a teacher role you must provide documentation to prove that you have QTS (Qualified teacher status)
  • All applicants applying for a role born in the UK/Ireland must provide passport (current/expired), or a birth certificate but we will also need your national insurance along with your birth certificate.
  • All applicants applying outside of the UK/Ireland must provide a Passport from their home nation as well as a BRP card along with a share code.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
