Teaching Personnel are recruiting for Behaviour Support Worker for a school in Salford,with provision for pupils aged 7-16 who have been assessed as having social, emotional and/or mental health difficulties. The ideal candidate for this role would be:

• A calm and patient practitioner

• Dedicated and committed to making a real change in young people’s lives.

Within this school, pupils are taught in small groups with each class being allocated a specific teaching assistant who supports them in all subjects. The school offers a personalised curriculum including practical workshops such as bike repair and welding workshops in the high school as well as a range of opportunities for physical exercise for those who benefit from releasing their extra/negative energy. To supplement this, the pupils are offered emotional literacy and PSHE sessions to support their motional as well as academic development.

The school is located in Salford with excellent links by tram, bus and car.
