SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you a committed Teaching Assistant looking for work in a Secondary SEN environment? If so, this may be the role for you. The school is seeking a committed and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support their leaners within and outside of the classroom the needs of the pupils are Moderate Learning Difficulties including those diagnosed with Autism.

The ideal candidate for this Teaching Assistant Role would have:

  • Prior experience in a SEN/Care environment
  • A DBS on the Update Service/Willingness to get one
  • An engaging and personable attitude

Your role as a Teaching Assistant would be to support the pupils with their tasks, to be a positive role model in and around the classroom to and to contribute to school life as a whole.
