  • Do you have experience in SEN education?
  • Do you have specific experience working with children with autism
  • Are you qualified or have experience working in a School Environment?
  • Are you located close to Penzance or happy to drive?

We have a new opportunity for a SEN TA to work alongside a professional Senco and group of Teachers in providing the best start to education for children.

Working with Teaching Personnel will provide you with a schedule that fits to your availability, and a competitive pay rate, earning GBP60 per day. As well as this, you also have the chance to gain invaluable experience within the institution, and have the chance to extra training throughout.

To qualify for this you will need to have:

  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with children, either in small groups or 1:1.
  • Work to your own initiative with confidence both inside and outside of the classroom.

  • Experience working 1:1 with children with autism.
  •  A DBS Child workforce only registered with the update service (or be willing to gain one)

As behaviour management will be a big part of your job, experience or training within this sector is essential. This could be:

  • Providing constant positivity throughout the lessons
  • Building a strong relationship with a student
  • Assisting them with their task but allowing them to be independent
  • Provide boundaries

Team Teach training is preferred but this can be offered with Teaching Personnel throughout the Summer Holidays alongside other CPD programmes.

All candidates must be able to provide two references from you most current schools or placements with children and must provide a DBS check registered to the update service or be completed via application at a cost of GBP44.00. Safeguarding is a priority at Teaching Personnel and therefore all candidates will be vetted to the highest standard.
