SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
An outstanding and prestigious school in Bristol is looking for an LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to join their SEN team immediately.
This school is a Church of England School that has high achievement and low behaviour issues. However, naturally there are pockets of challenging behaviour, which comes from SEN and vulnerable pupils. This is where you will support these children when they are finding school life quite tough.
Ideally you will be educated to degree level but this is not essential. you will need to either have sound education experience or SEN experience outside education.
This is a full-time role to start ASAP. If this role sounds good for you, please contact me immediately. I look forward to hearing from you
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
