Join the support department within a secondary school, providing targeted guidance for young people with SEN.

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • Required ASAP.
  • Secondary school in Bury.
  • Earn up to GBP1200 per month!

Our client secondary school in Bury are currently looking for a member of support staff to join their SEN department as soon as possible, on an ongoing basis.

With some students within the school having complex needs such as ADHD and ASC, it is important that they have the correct guidance in order to reach their highest potential. Working as a teaching assistant at our client school will involve working in mainstream classrooms supporting the teacher with the learning and development of students with SEN. You will be supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.

To be considered for this role, you must have transferrable experience to work with pupils who have SEN. Any experience directly in a secondary school is desirable but not essential as the school provide CPD training to work with students who have SEN.

Located in Bury, our client secondary school can be accessed via the M62 and A56 from surrounding areas including Bolton and Rochdale. For non drivers, there is a number of public transportation links meaning the school can be accessed from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
