SEN Teaching Assistant

This is an ideal role for any individuals looking to further their experience within secondary education, working with pupils who have additional needs.

• Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant required from September 2021 for the full academic year.
• Based within an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school in Salford.
• Working alongside class teachers supporting students aged 11-16.
• Possible SEN could be ADHD, Autism or additional learning needs such as Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.
• Earn up to GBP350 per week, depending upon previous experience.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant within our client school, responsibilities will include working 1:1 with identified pupils that require additional support due to their specific learning difficulties. Further responsibilities incorporate delivering sessions to suit specific SEN and the possibility of covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of a teacher. To be considered for this role experience working within an educational setting and with children and young people who have SEN or behavioural difficulties is desirable.

Located near Salford, the school can be accessed via the M62/A580 and via several public transport links from surrounding areas including Bolton and Worsley.
