Are you currently looking for a position where you can make a positive difference to young people's education? Have you got previous experience working with students who have SEN?
If so, our client secondary school in Oldham is currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant with experience covering the full range of SEND, including autism; moderate learning difficulties and specific learning difficulties.
- SEN Teaching Assistant, starting January 31st for 8 weeks
- Join a supportive SEN department with a well established SENCO
- Must have previous experience working in a similar environment
- Large modern building with excellent provisions
This is a mixed 11-16 secondary school located in Oldham; the school is easily accessible via the A62 road and has a range of public transport links from Manchester City Centre. The school was originally on two separate sites and was merged into a purpose built secondary school to offer the students excellent facilities and provisions to increase attainment. In recent years there has been a change in their leadership team which has had a positive influence on the standards of teaching and students attitude to learning with Ofsted grading the effectiveness of leadership and management as 'good'.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
