Job description

SEN Teacher – Autism & Complex Needs (SLD, PMLD, Mobility Needs)

Location: West Sussex
Hours: Full-time or part-time
Salary: Based on Teacher Pay Scale & responsibilities

Teaching Personnel are proud to support specialist SEN schools dedicated to pupils with autism and complex needs, and we are looking for teachers who bring patience, creativity, and empathy to the classroom.

The role:

  • Teaching pupils with varying communication and sensory needs

  • Adapting learning through visuals, structure, and routine

  • Supporting life skills, emotional regulation, and independence

  • Collaborating with specialist staff including speech & language therapists

  • Creating a safe, predictable, and engaging learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
