Exciting and rewarding opportunity available to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and additional learning needs.

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • Required from January 2021 until at least the end of the academic year.
  • Ofsted graded ‘Good’ Secondary school located in Bolton.
  • Supporting students aged 11-16, with a range of SEN such as ADHD and Autism.
  • Earn up to GBP1400 per month, depending on roles and responsibilities.

This average sized mixed secondary school in Bolton is looking for an additional Teaching Assistant due to a gap in their SEN department until the end of the academic year, with the potential for permanent employment following this period.

Working within the school will involve supporting the SENCO and class teachers to ensure all pupils have the correct support in the classroom. You will be working alongside pupils ranging in learning ability who have been identified as requiring additional guidance, due to their SEN, to stay on task and reach their full potential.

To be considered for this role, it is important that you have previous experience working with individuals who have SEN. Any direct experience within a school setting is desirable but not essential, as induction support will be provided.

Our client school is in Bolton, close by to the town centre with various links to public transportation from surrounding areas such as Prestwich and Farnworth. The school can also be accessed via the M66 and A58 for candidates who have their own transportation from neighbouring areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
