We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Salford, providing 1:1 support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, nurturing, and committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement support plans.
Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence within the classroom.
Support students socially, emotionally, and academically throughout the school day.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to the wider school team.
Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting.
Is patient, empathetic, and resilient.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
Is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs.
