Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a lovely client school in the Poole area. Due to staff changes, the school are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a child in Year 3 with specific needs on a 1:1 basis. The child has physical and academic needs and requires full time support. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting children with SEN and will be comfortable with moving and handling where necessary.
The role is to work in a lovely, one form entry primary school in the Poole area. The school have a strong community feel and have the children at the heart of everything that they do. The head teacher and schools SENCO are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant who is confident and approachable and has a good sense of humour. Prior experience working with children with SEN is essential. Moving and handling experience would be beneficial but training can be provided if necessary.
The school are looking to short list for this position ASAP with a view to the successful candidate starting from September. The role will be full time and will run for the whole academic year.
