We’re recruiting for a therapeutic school in Witney that supports children with severe and complex trauma. The school is looking for resilient, empathetic individuals - people who are committed to making a genuine, long‑term difference in young lives.
Classes are small, allowing for highly personalised, relationship‑based support in a safe, nurturing environment.

About the School
This specialist therapeutic setting supports children whose early experiences of trauma significantly impact their learning, behaviour and emotional regulation. The school integrates education and therapeutic care, focusing on safety, consistency and emotional development.
You will provide educational, emotional and practical support, helping pupils engage with learning and develop confidence, independence and social skills.
The Role
Working closely with teachers and the wider team, you will:
• Support children with learning tasks to maximise progress
• Help build independence, confidence and positive social interactions
• Assist with lesson preparation, team meetings and training
• Maintain a well‑organised, calm and stimulating classroom environment
• Observe behaviour, identify concerns and provide feedback to teachers and the therapeutic team
• Supervise pupils throughout the school day
• Provide basic childcare support, including first aid and hygiene care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
