SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Wilmslow – September Start
Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional learning needs in a secondary school setting?
A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Wilmslow is looking to appoint a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a full-time basis for the full academic year.
In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties (MLD). You’ll provide in-class support, deliver one-to-one interventions, and assist with small group sessions to help pupils access the curriculum and make progress socially and academically.
You’ll collaborate with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to follow Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and promote inclusive, differentiated learning. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are patient, adaptable, and keen to make a difference in a student’s educational journey.

Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
