Secondary Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking a proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant for a school based in Crewe. This is an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school so they are looking for someone who can ensure all learning needs are catered for.

About the role:

• Start-date: 1^st September
• Opportunity to earn £85-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
• The school is in a great location with excellent transport links to Stoke and Newcastle-Under-Lyme

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide general support in lessons ensuring students remain engaged and positive behaviour is maintained. You may also support 1-1 in the schools SEN department, providing tailored support and interventions for students who require additional help with core subjects. Additionally, you will work closely with other support staff to create and implement individualised learning plans, ensuring the curriculum is accessible to all.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience working with young people is essential for this role
• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students and staff
• A proactive and positive mindset, constantly engaging in the classroom
• Safeguarding training (must be completed upon registering with Teaching Personnel)
