The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCPs and personalised learning strategies.
- Encourage independence, boost confidence, and celebrate every milestone with your students.
- Adapt learning activities to ensure accessibility and engagement.
- Promote emotional well-being and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
✅ Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Passionate about inclusive education and pupil progress.
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant training (desirable).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
