SEN Teaching Assistant – Stretford (M32)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teaching Assistant with experience within SEN provisions to provide supply for a wide range of SEN primary schools in and around Stretford. We are currently experiencing high demand for educators with both primary and secondary SEN experience.

The incoming Teaching Assistant will be expected to collaborate with the SLT and Teaching staff of multiple schools, implementing EHCPs for students with a wide range of needs. This may involve 1:1 support and small-group interventions with lower-ability pupils. You will be expected to employ positive behaviour management techniques, promoting an engaging learning environment. Candidates with Team Teach training are encouraged to apply.

For pupils with complex needs, personal care may be required. This can be discussed with you consultant upon application. Educators with experience providing personal care are encouraged to apply.

After registering with Teaching Personnel, you can begin working straight away.

Alongside short-term and day-to-day supply, we also have a wide range of long-term positions available, depending on your work requirements.

Pay starts at £84+ per day, dependent on your experience and qualifications. We also offer extensive opportunities for additional training through our bespoke CPD Academy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
