The Sheffield Branch of Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a Specialist SEMH School, seeking to recruit enthusiastic and resilient classroom support staff to join their team!

 

The school provides education for young people who have severe and complex learning difficulties – Including emotional, cognitive, and behavioural related needs.

 

The school is located in Central Sheffield and is surrounded by excellent transport links – it is therefore not a requirement that you are able to drive.

 

The role:

  • Hours: 08:30 – 15:00, Monday-Friday (Part-time roles also available)
  • Pay: Between £70-85, dependent on experience

Candidate requirements:

  • Relevant Qualifications or SEN Experience
  • The right candidate for the role will be resilient and be able to pro-actively support behaviour management and disengagement
  • It is desirable but not essential to have training in the following – Team Teach, Positive Handling, Makaton Signing, First Aid Training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
