I am currently recruiting teaching assistants located within the Patricroft area of Eccles to be apart of a specialist school for Upper Primary and secondary aged young people with social and emotional difficulties. The school caters for young people from 7-16 Years old and focuses on their emotional as well as academic development.
The school is looking for a confident and resilient individual that is able to engage with reluctant learners on a one-to-one basis and in the classroom. Ideally the successful teaching assistant will have physical and verbal de-escalation training.
The successful teaching assistant will be supporting learners who are under performing in their subjects and assist them when implementing strategies to benefit the learners in self-esteem and confidence. You must be a strong role model, motivated and dedicated to providing outstanding teaching support.
The Patricroft School is looking for a passionate person to create change and bring enthusiasm to assist pupils in day to day learning and routines. You will have a desire for working with young people and be looking to make a real difference.
This is a long term rolling contract, with great potential to become permanent.
