Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant in Rochdale!

We are on the lookout for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to take on full-time Teaching Assistant roles available throughout Rochdale, starting in September.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll provide essential support to students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them achieve their full potential. If you have experience or a passion for working with SEN students, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rewarding educational setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver focused 1:1 support and run small group interventions
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of tailored, engaging lessons
  • Support students in their academic, emotional, and social growth
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour

  • Are passionate about helping young people succeed, especially those with SEN
  • Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Are adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Live in or can commute to Rochdale

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
