About the role

SEN Teaching Assistant KS1 & KS2

Location – Redruth

Contract Type – Full Time, Temporary (30 hours)

Working Hours – Monday – Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm)

Starting – 3rd November 2025

Ending – 19th December 2025

Salary - £89.33 - £95.06 per day

Key Responsibilities

-          Provide a calm and structured support network for students

-          Adequately assist learners with EHCPs

-          Provide support to learners in and out of the classroom

-          Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

-          Resilience, calm and patience

-          Previous experience working with SEN students

-          Strong communication skills, dealing with both teachers and students

-          Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

-          Safeguarding Level 2 (Not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
