Hourly Rate: £13.75
Hours: Term-time only, flexible hours available

Role Overview
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support pupils with additional learning needs. Your role will include:

  • Supporting children with SEN to engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning targets.

  • Assisting with tailored learning activities, both one-to-one and in small groups.

  • Encouraging pupils’ social skills, confidence, and independence.

  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children with SEN is preferred but not essential—full training can be provided.

  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work term-time hours.

  • A genuine commitment to supporting children’s development and well-being.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
