Teaching Personnel are currently looking for quality teaching assistants to work in a 3-19 special educational needs school in Bournemouth. We are currently looking for two full-time members of staff, as well as somebody who can do part-time hours.
You will be starting on a temporary basis, and providing you pass your probation period you will be offered the chance to go onto a permanent contract with the school.
The role:
As a member of staff of this school, you will be assigned to a classroom based on your prior experience & desired preferences. The classes have pupils with a variety of different learning needs. For example, one classroom requires support for pupils with complex and profound learning needs, whereas the other is to work alongside pupils with autism and ADHD.
While not required, the ideal candidate will have one or more of the following:
- Prior experience within the education sector
- Prior experience as a care or support worker
- Experience (personally or professionally) with supporting individuals with Autism or ADHD
- A qualification in Health & Social Care, Psychology or Child Development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
