SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: Plymouth
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Daily Rate: £89 – £95 (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing

The Role:
As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work 1:1 or with small groups of pupils with a range of SEN including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs

Support learning, engagement, and emotional regulation throughout the school day

Adapt resources and use strategies to meet individual pupils’ needs
-
Liaise with class teachers and SENCOs to ensure effective support

Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment
Ideal For:

Experienced TAs or support workers

Graduates considering a career in education or psychology

Calm, patient, and resilient individuals passionate about making a difference

People with previous experience in schools, care settings, or youth work

Requirements:

Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (preferred but not essential)

A proactive and positive attitude

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
