SEN Teaching Assistant – September Start

Plymouth
Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm | Term Time Only

Teaching Personnel are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support a number of schools across Plymouth from September. Opportunities are available within both SEN and mainstream settings, with schools already planning additional support for the new academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and looking for a rewarding, full-time role within education.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Working alongside teachers and SEN staff to support learning and behaviour
  • Helping pupils stay engaged, regulated, and confident in school
  • Supporting children with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, and communication needs
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and staff

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people is essential
  • Confident supporting behaviour and additional needs
  • Reliable, patient, and adaptable
  • Available Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Passionate about making a difference in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
