Teaching Assistant – New Milton

We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in New Milton from September 2025. This is a full-time position, offering the chance to support pupils in a welcoming and engaging learning environment.

Your Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils in their daily learning and personal development.

  • Work closely with teachers to adapt lessons and activities for individual needs.

  • Encourage pupils to build resilience, independence, and confidence.

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to help pupils progress.

  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience of working with or supporting children (school-based experience desirable).

  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Enthusiasm and commitment to helping pupils achieve their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
